I was born and raised on a farm in WA. I am no stranger to hard work and adversity! I raised two boys; much of the time as a single mother. The road to healing from my own trauma was a long one. I love helping people – I find my work satisfying and meaningful; it brings purpose to my life. I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, friends, and family. I love animals and nature. My hobbies include music, art, and crafting. I love outdoor adventures and travel as often as possible! I have an intuitive introspective personality; a combination of compassion and empathy for suffering, wonder and awe in the beauty of life, humility in learning about myself and others, and a touch of light-hearted humor when the occasion calls for it.
